In the heart of Warsaw’s financial district, traffic congestion isn’t the only headache—finding a secure, reliable parking space is often mission impossible.
That’s why, when the city’s municipal investment group decided to build a new multi-level parking garage near the transport hub, they turned to HIG MODULAR for an answer that wouldn’t take years to materialize.
The Challenge:
Limited construction space.
Tight project deadlines due to surrounding road operations.
High snow and wind load requirements during Poland’s harsh winters.
A design that allows for future vertical expansion without service interruptions.
The Solution:
HIG MODULAR’s prefabricated steel structure system.
Entire steel modules were manufactured off-site with millimeter-level precision. Deliveries were timed overnight to avoid city traffic, and each floor was installed within days—not months—minimizing disturbance to the area.
The building’s large-span design eliminates unnecessary interior columns, maximizing parking capacity per floor. Anti-corrosion steel treatments ensure the structure withstands Warsaw’s variable climate for decades with minimal maintenance.
Future-Proof by Design:
With the current 7 floors now operational, the structure has been pre-engineered for two additional levels to be added in the future, without closing the garage or disrupting service.
For modern cities battling space constraints, steel structure parking isn’t just an option—it’s a necessity for efficient, adaptable infrastructure.
