To meet the demands of rapid industrial growth and sustainable facility development, a European client recently partnered with HIG MODULAR to construct a custom steel structure workshop designed for advanced machinery assembly and light manufacturing operations.

Project Details

Located in Southern Poland, this 2,800㎡ steel workshop was commissioned by a mechanical parts manufacturer needing an adaptable, well-ventilated, and structurally sound facility to support their expanding production line.

Key design features included:

Single-span steel frame with a height of 9.5 meters, allowing installation of overhead cranes.

PU insulated wall and roof panels, improving indoor energy efficiency in cold climates.

Daylighting skylights and turbine ventilators, reducing energy consumption and improving air circulation.

Integrated office and utility room modules, streamlining workflow within the facility.

Tailored for European Conditions

HIG’s engineering team designed the structure to meet Eurocode standards, considering snow load, seismic factors, and regional wind pressures. The building frame utilized hot-dip galvanized steel, enhancing its durability against long winters and high humidity.

Efficient Delivery & Assembly

All components were prefabricated at HIG’s factory and shipped in containers to the port of Gdańsk. Thanks to detailed installation drawings and remote technical guidance, the local assembly team completed the workshop erection in just 25 working days.
